Refund Policy
Donation Refunds
Toora appreciates every donation received in support of our work. As a registered charity, we are committed to ensuring all donations are used responsibly to deliver our services.
Donations are generally considered voluntary and are therefore non-refundable. However, we recognise that mistakes can occur and will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
- An incorrect donation amount was entered.
- A duplicate donation was made.
- An unauthorised or fraudulent transaction occurred.
- A recurring donation continued after a cancellation request.
- An error occurred during payment processing.
Requesting a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of the donation and include:
- Donor's full name
- Donation date
- Donation amount
- Payment method
- Receipt number (if available)
- Reason for the refund request

Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
If a tax-deductible receipt has been issued for a refunded donation, that receipt becomes invalid and should not be used for taxation purposes.
